$35 off? how much is it normally?

(beer drinker here... my drink doesnt get that pricey... i make up for that by drinking enough of it to make it that pricey)

$99. I get into beer enough usually on the lesser known or crafty sides. La fin du monde is my favorite so far- that is if you can find it.

gotta admit... belgian style canadian 9% beer has got my attention

i wanna try it now

i quite like la chouffe... but me favourite is asahi.. nice smooth 5% japanese pilsner thats oh so very quaffable

(me quaffing my drinks is why i stay away from the stronger stuff nowadays)

Definitely of the best belgians though I’m sure someone will object.

It is one of those that sneak up on ya if not too careful. But it's the end of the world after all.

I do like their bottles...I’ve only ever seen their Blanco. I don’t recall this bottle.

Ok so regular Espoló n Añejo (and Reposado and Blanco) is one of my favorites and I want to try this but the regular price is a bit much - where did you find this for $35 off?

Va ABC. So Espolon is my usual go to but they've had big bottle of Lunazul on the cheap. The clerk behind the counter goes, hey have you seen this and sure enough they had 3 bottles left at $35 off. Thinking back I should have just grabbed all 3. I may go check some local ABCs tomorrow and see if they have inventory.

Its a limited release type batch. They're añejo can't be beat and scores leagues above even more expensive brands.

Ah forgot you were in a liquor control state sorry. I grew up in PA - don’t miss it - but the state liquor store actually would have good items and good deals if you found the ones tucked away off of the main roads.  I haven’t seen it below $85 here but I also haven’t really looked anywhere other than Total Wine and the local grocery store.

ABC is weird. I've been to DC where I have to point through a lexan fishbowl at what I want or Arizona where I just walk to aisle 29. Having privately owned shops can generate competition on pricing but overall since ABC stores got on a more friendly schedule it's been more tolerable.

I need a Costco card but I hear they have all sorts of wonderful Kirkland stuff. Their 5 hour energies are awesome.

not sure if it’s local or national, but you don’t need a membership to shop the liquor store or the pharmacy. You need a pass to get to the pharmacy in store, but the liquor store is a separate section here.

Their tequila is quite good. $20 for a liter of a nice anejo you can sip. The silver is 1.75 liter for $20 and s good for mixing. I’ve had the resposado once, and they haven’t carried it since. It was OK, but the same price as the anejo essentially so I probably wouldn’t have bought it again.
